Eggcellent Experiment!
13th Oct 2021
Hello!
For our topic The Victorians we learned that in 1874 William Gladstone, the prime minister, removed the tax on sugar. This made it more affordable and led to lots of people having tooth decay! Primary 7 wanted to explore the impact sugar has on our teeth. We used egg shells to represent our tooth enamel and placed them in different soft drinks to see the impact they had on our teeth!
Have a look at the pictures and see how orange juice, water, Coca Cola, coffee and milk impacted our egg shells!
