P4 Shared Education WWII- Make do and mend!
4th Apr 2017
We explored clothes rationing during World War II today whilst working with our friends from Greystone Primary. In groups, we were given an old garment and had to decide how we were going to mend it and turn it into something else! This was a lot of fun and we got very creative with our ideas- turning an old pair of trousers into shorts and two scarves, a long dress into a skirt, top and bow, and even a pair of jogging bottoms into a skirt and apron! Great fun today!
