The saying 'Not all superheroes wear capes!' was very appropriate on Wednesday 1st of December in St. Joseph's.
We would like to thank all of our families for being real Superheroes and helping our local community. We were all overwhlemed and humbled by the donations and the generosity shown by everyone. We want you to know that your donations will make a real difference for people this Christmas time.
Johnny and Will from Antrim/Ballymena Foodbank and Sustrans cycled over to see us and spoke with Year 7 pupils about the important work of the FoodBank Team. The Year 7 pupils, with help from some Year 3 and 6 pupils, helped load up the van. 'We're going to need a bigger van!' came the cry as the donations filled the Foodbank van to the brim.
