St Patrick's Day Assembly
On Wednesday the 16th March the school had its annual St Patrick's day assembly. A great turnout of parents, grandparents, friends and family were treated to a real showcase of talent. From our Irish Dancers to our harpists, it was clear to see the talent within our school. The assembly included a drama about St Patrick's life and how he brought our Christian faith to Ireland, songs such as Tell Me Ma, the Rainbow song, Micky Marley's Roundabout and a little bit of B*witched from the P4s! Added to the mix was poetry by William Butler Yates, the brass and harp players and some Irish dancing. The P7s finished the day (with the help from some of the audience) with a rendition of Ireland's call.
