Tie Dye T-shirts

During our KWL planning session, the pupils had a real desire to create and make their own clothes. After looking at how clothing is made from natural and man-made fibres we looked at how to get colour into clothes. From the Neolithic times to today, clothing has been dyed using a range of different methods.

The children used a tie dye method to alter and change their white t-shirts and I'm sure you'll agree the results were fantastic!
