Zoo Trip
This term Primary 2 were finding out about being on Safari. We wanted to find out more about the animals that are found there. We decided the best place to find out more was the zoo. At the zoo we saw lots of different animals and even got to touch and stroke some. A kind lady called Maureen told us lots of facts and information about animals and creatures. Did you know that a snake can smell using its tongue. We got to hold a stick insect and a snake. We also got to stroke a hedgehog and a enormous snail. We got to see a tarantula up close -SCARY. We saw the giraffes, monkey, elephants and many more animals. We ate our lunch at the park and played there afterwards. We had an excellent time. Mrs McElhone said we should all be so proud of ourselves as our behaviour and manners were superb.
